The Swedish Transport Administration has decided to assign the airline operator Amapola Flyg AB traffic to and from Stockholm / Arlanda on the lines Hemavan, Vilhelmina and Lycksele. The operator also intends to interstate traffic from Hemavan at Kramfors / Sollefteå Airport.
Flight start takes place July 1st.
"We are very pleased to have been able to secure traffic so quickly," says GeneralDirector Lena Erixon at the Swedish Transport Agency .
Efter Nextjets konkurs påbörjade Trafikverket omedelbart upphandlingar för de linjer med allmän trafikplikt som drabbades, dvs följande destinationer till och från Arlanda: Gällivare och Arvidsjaur samt Hemavan, Vilhelmina, Lycksele.
For the lines to Hemavan, Vilhelmina and Lycksele, the Swedish Transport Administration has been able to
make use of a so-called emergency procedure in the EU Air Traffic Regulation and now assign a traffic assignment for a period of seven months. In parallel, the Swedish Transport Administration has initiated a procurement to ensure traffic after the period and until October 2019.
