Hemavan Tärnaby Airport is a great little airport located in the middle of the Västerbotten mountains. We operate Stockholm-Arlanda 6 days a week all year round with the airline populAir.
We are a small airport with a big heart where we try to solve everything to make your trip as good as possible.
In recent years we have seen fantastic development in the area and houses, cottages, apartments and new areas are being built at a furious pace that probably no one thought was possible in Stenmark's time. This of course affects the need to be able to travel quickly to and from Hemavan Tärnaby and we are proud that we have an airport in the area that allows us to reach far beyond the borders of Västerbotten, Lapland and Sweden.
With the Kungsleden trail right around the corner, hiking here has become known far beyond Europe and every summer we welcome hikers from all corners of the world who want to enjoy the Swedish nature and mountains with their right of way. In winter it is mainly skiing, snowmobiling, the Northern Lights and fishing that attract. Holidaying in the mountains is fantastic whatever season you choose, there is something for everyone as long as you like untouched nature.
